The Tour kicks off with a half marathon at Rimrose Valley Country Park in Waterloo, home to Marsh Lane Harriers and Rimrose Runners. The course comprises three laps around the full park, including around a mile alongside the Leeds to Liverpool Canal, and starts and finishes on the athletics track at the end of Gwenwyllin Road. The terrain is predominantly flat, so there is real potential for a fast start if you want it.
