The Tour moves across to Wirral with a six mile challenge over track, beach, hill and dale. If anyone has taken part in the original Thurstaston race then you will know what this one is all about. The race starts on the main headland at the bottom of Station Road, finishing back on the common overlooking the Dee Estuary: a great location to recover.
This is very much a challenge after the half marathon the day before.
About the club
Hello from Birkenhead Park Running Club.
Set up in July 2023, Birkenhead Park Running Club has grown from a small group of friends meeting up to run together a couple of times a week to a large, thriving club of about 150 members. BP:RC is proud to offer runners of all abilities the opportunity to run in a group; they are a truly all-inclusive running group.
With a monthly training plan that offers a variety of different runs, BP:RC activities are designed to help improve performance and confidence. After each run, club members often head to the Birkenhead Park Rugby Club for a drink and social chat, strengthening communal bonds.
Birkenhead Park Running Club meets at Birkenhead Park Rugby Club on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm. New members are always welcome. Most activities take place in and around the park.
